What EMF shielding actually means — and how to read the evidence.

Not all "EMF clothing" is the same. AlphaZeroVision garments are built around silver-fibre textile technology and independently tested to a single measurable standard: electromagnetic attenuation in decibels (dB).

A higher dB rating means more signal blocked. Our everyday tee achieves >99 dB across 10 MHz–6 GHz, tested to IEEE 299 standard. Our Signal-Grade Hoodie is verified at 45 dB at 5G frequencies. These are laboratory numbers, not marketing claims.

The shielding mechanism

Silver is one of the most electrically conductive elements on earth. When woven into textile at sufficient density, it creates a Faraday-cage effect around the body — reflecting and absorbing incoming electromagnetic radiation rather than letting it pass through. Our fabrics use a proprietary weave density that maintains conductivity after repeated washing without adding visible metallic texture to the fabric.

How we test

All attenuation claims are verified by independent laboratories using standard test rigs: a signal source, a receive antenna, and the fabric as an interposed shield. The result is reported as dB loss — directly comparable across products. We publish our test reports and methodology. You can request the full data sheet with any order.

What the research says

Peer-reviewed literature consistently identifies repeated, low-level radiofrequency (RF) exposure as a biologically active phenomenon. While regulatory bodies set limits on acute RF exposure from single devices, they do not account for the cumulative, all-day exposure profile most people now experience. Our products are designed for the everyday exposure environment: Wi-Fi, 4G/5G mobile, Bluetooth, and smart devices at typical real-world distances.

We do not make medical claims. We make engineering claims, backed by published standards and independent test data.

Care and longevity

Silver-fibre garments require gentle washing to preserve conductivity. Wash cold, on a gentle cycle, with a pH-neutral detergent. Avoid bleach, fabric softeners, and tumble drying at high heat. Follow the care guide enclosed with every order. Attenuation performance is verified to remain above rated values after 80+ washes when the care guide is followed.
