Care Guide
Caring for Your Pieces
Good clothing lasts when it's looked after properly. These general guidelines apply across the collection — always check the care label on your specific item first.
Wool and Merino
Hand wash in cold water with a gentle wool detergent, or dry clean for best results. Lay flat to dry — never hang, as wool stretches under its own weight when wet. Store folded, not on a hanger.
Silk and Charmeuse
Hand wash in cold water with a pH-neutral detergent. Do not wring or twist. Roll in a clean towel to remove excess water, then lay flat to dry away from direct sunlight. Iron on the lowest setting, inside out.
Linen
Machine wash on a gentle cycle in cold water. Tumble dry low or line dry. Linen softens and improves with each wash — slight wrinkling is a natural characteristic, not a flaw. Iron while slightly damp for a crisper finish.
Cotton Canvas
Machine wash cold, inside out. Tumble dry low. Avoid high heat, which can cause shrinkage and affect the garment-washed finish. Do not bleach.
Leather
Wipe with a soft dry cloth after each use. Condition every few months with a quality leather conditioner. Avoid prolonged exposure to water or direct sunlight. Store in a cool, dry place away from direct heat.
General Storage
Store folded knitwear flat. Use cedar blocks rather than mothballs. Keep leather goods stuffed lightly with tissue paper to hold their shape.
